Fernando Román Vico, @iamsurroundedby, is a fine art photographer who, guided by intuition, captures mainly urban landscapes.
His photographs evoke feelings that range from nostalgia to intrigue in dreamy yet ordinary scenes. Fernando's imagery is characterised by vivid colours and varied settings that range from the brightness of daylight to the night. He describes his work with his slogan sensations that surround us.
Additionally, there is a therapeutic approach that Fernando explores through his work. Photography is his way of reflecting on his emotions and channeling them through the colours and lights he captures with his camera. Besides, it is a way of interacting with his surroundings.
Extrapolating this to events, everything that surrounds us -including, of course, the most important, the people- will take importance and set the tone and the vibes. My goal is to capture that in my images.
